History
QSI (Quality Schools International), with its headquarters in Malta, was invited to open an international school in Lomé in the Spring of 2022. By the end of summer, on August 24, 2022, QSI International School of Togo opened its doors for its inaugural academic year. Although the school is new, it comes with an extensive history of success as a member school of QSI.
The school currently operates out of a spacious, modern villa located in Cité OUA, Lomé. The facility boasts three upstairs classrooms, a PE room, multi-purpose art and music room, computer/technology area, as well as a multi-purpose library and foyer. The fenced off swimming pool in the backyard is used for weekly swimming training and scheduled recreational periods.
The school has worked deliberately to ensure that its academic program is rigorous and comparable to the standards and expectations that QSI International is renowned for. Additionally, the staff provide opportunities for the students to engage with their local culture, learning what makes Togo, and the West African region, unique geographically, historically, and culturally, through excursions and workshops held by guest artisans and speakers.
QSI Togo is part of Quality Schools International, with a history of 50+ years.
